DAT One
The biggest load board in the US, with the most loads and lane rate data. Plans range from basic search to versions with rate history and broker credit scores. Most serious carriers use it. Prices start around $50 a month and go up a lot for rate tools.
Truckstop
The main DAT alternative, strong in flatbed and with good broker credit and rate tools. Many single-truck owner-operators pick it for the value. Plans are tiered by features.
123Loadboard
A cheaper option that many new carriers start with. Fewer loads than DAT or Truckstop, but it includes useful tools and is good as a second board.
How to pick
- Pay for the tools you use: rate data and broker credit checks save more money than the board costs.
- One main board first. Add a second only if it pays for itself.
- Always check the broker on FMCSA and in the board's credit data before you book.
- Prices change often, so check each company's site before you buy.
Or skip the boards
With a dispatcher, the board subscriptions and the phone time are on us. Your dispatcher searches, calls and negotiates, and you just approve the load.
Dispatch from 4%, or run under our authority from 15%.
